Toilet Paper Orientation
Dear visitor, you are probably here because you are concerned/annoyed/outraged/... about the toilet paper habits of your fellow toileticians and you want to do something about it.
Discussions about toilet paper orientation can lead to very strong sentiment of right and wrong. Hanging the toilet paper over or under (overhang- / underhang-method) is a sensitive topic which deserves a sensitive approach. Therefore we'll make sure the information on this site is fair and balanced.
Toilet paper orientation - the right way
Fortunately when it comes to toilet paper orientation there is only one way of doing it right and that is of course the overhang-method. Everybody with eyes and a brain can see that this is the only logical way.
The infographic to the left shows clearly that the underhang-method is sub-optimal, to say the least.
Still, a substantial part of toilet-users worldwide does not seem to understand this.
